The VISIONEERS Finca
The non profit Asociación VISIONEERS Costa Rica was founded in January 2020 to create lasting hope by investing in people. We believe that sustainable change begins when people discover their God given potential and are equipped to shape a better future for themselves and their communities.
In 2021, this vision took root in the mountains of San Andrés de León Cortés, where we purchased a coffee finca in Costa Rica. More than a coffee farm, it has become a place of learning, opportunity, and hope.
Coffee is not our goal. It is a tool to create lasting impact. In 2023, we opened our Education Center to train coffee farmers, workers, and young people. In 2026, we expanded our work by opening a daycare building to support local families and give children a safe place to learn and grow.
Today, every cup of coffee helps create opportunities, strengthen communities, and bring hope to future generations.
A model with purpose
We deliberately grow specialty coffee, from the Costa Rica Arabica and Caturra varieties. The coffee we grow here is served at VISIONEERS Café in Berlin, as part of a value chain with social purpose. Every cup served at VISIONEERS Café in Berlin helps sustain this cycle—from the coffee plants growing on our finca in Costa Rica to the projects that bring hope, education, and new opportunities to children, young people, and families in the region.
